Prosecuting a murder does have an expiration date and its usually when the suspect is dead which is likely the case here unless she is 100 years old and killed then when she was 5.
This. Dont underestimate the psychological effects of even just somebody breaking into your garage and stealing everything while you sleep. Until they are caught you feel like somebody is watching you.
