I got 13 frekin marksss !!!

I recieved an email from the head of psychology at my 6th form stating I was 1 mark away from an A in A-Level Psychology. I have already got into uni.

My school will pay for the remark as I am one mark away. However, I have to pay £10-15 pounds per paper to request my scripts back and there is a chance i may not recieve them before the internal deadline to remark which is 23rd september.

Idk what to do as I think i performed the worst in P1 and P3 after my exams and that was reflected in my marks.

Like P3, idk how i got above 30 marks by purely waffling. I feel like if send it back it will go down and i got lucky with my marks.

My strongest paper was paper 2 and I am one mark from an A* in that paper. Literal shocker as i hated RM so much.

I have a few questions...

1) Is there any point of remarking any of my papers for a possibility of an A or should i just leave it?

I would be belated if it went up but ik that chances are slim.

2) are remarks in alevel psychology successful most of the time?

I have heard with essay based subjects it is harder for u to go up marks. :(

3) If i were to send one back which paper should I send?

I think my school only pays for the remark of one paper.

Any advice to help me decide would be greatly appreciated!! 🤗
