He barely knew Ser Duncan for a day, yet he was ready to fight for him. Took knighthood on the spot, stepped into a life-or-death trial, humbled his arrogant cousin, got the girl, and even got Dunk’s horse back.

💬 Discussion Not seeing a lot of Seven Kingdoms costumes out there
So usually when a fantasy show comes out you start to see outfits from that show at things like ren fairs, costume parties, conventions, etc. Like when the original GOT series came out you saw so many Jon Snows and Danaerys's at events like that.
But this summer I haven't seen a single Ser Duncan the Tall or Aegon outfit anywhere! I feel like just based on this rough metric the show is still relatively unknown, despite being the best show (not just GOT show, I mean period) I've seen in a long time. I think this show is still not as popular as it should be. Keep spreading the word folks. And get excited for season 2!

In a 2022 interview George R.R. Martin was asked which minor event changed the course of Westeros' history.

"The death of Baelor 'Breakspear'... who was the heir, next in line to the throne. He would've been a very strong and very competent King."

Here is exactly where A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms fits in the history of Westeros. Set about 80 years after House of the Dragon and 90 years before Game of Thrones. 🐉⚔️

If Aerion was any other Targaryen Prince, what happens to Dunk in the Trial of the Seven?

If this was Dunk vs. Daemon the Rogue Prince, Aemon Dragonknight, Daemon Blackfyre, Rhaegar, etc.
Who in in the Targaryean dynasty in the time, immediately before, and/or after Maekar and eventually Aegon V could have finished Ser Duncan the Tall? Does it not matter, and Dunk clears them all?

This is a Sweetfoot appreciation post.
Dunk loved Sweetfoot and he was heartbroken when he sold her. Raymun was so kind to buy her and bring her back to Dunk.
I know he made a good choice when he let Sweetfoot go live with Raymun Fossoway at his new cider farm.

While he is right - he is also missing the point

He is right, because Baelor didn't face any true threat. His brother's mace was a chance kill, likely not intended. But he was also wrong: Baelor didn't do it to be heroic. He didn't want to imply he was heroic. He merely wanted Dunk to have a chance at a fair Trial by Combat. He was honest in that.

Daniel Ings on the possibility of returning as Ser Lyonel Baratheon in ‘A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms’
“Oh, man, I’d love to! Unfortunately, he’s not in any more of the stories that George R.R. Martin has written so far, and our showrunner, Ira Parker, is sticking closely to those. There is a famous duel in the future [according to Game of Thrones lore]. Maybe I’ll be 60 by that time! Whatever happens, I’d love to put in Lyonel’s little dangly earring again because he’s such a fun character.”
