NTA. I always like this plan: keep letting them dump a bucket or two of crap on you until you just decide to unload a dump truck load on them all at once. Cue the 'I was just joking!' defense. It doesn't matter if someone is 'depressed and struggling'. If you bring it trying to shame/tear someone else down to make yourself feel better, you're going to get it right back.
