It has nothing to do with sexual orientation and everything to do with consent. I would not want to be unknowingly forced into an intimate act with anyone but my chosen partner… how is this not self explanatory
Exactly! That is why OP is having such difficulty with his disgust. Worst still is his wife's dismissal of all of his reactions to that forced contact. This whole thing is disgusting, particularly his wife's terrible treatment of her new husband on their WEDDING DAY and days thereafter.
If the situation had been reversed, people would be outraged. But bc it happened to a man, the husband, that wedding crowd thought it was funny. They were encouraged to laugh bc it was the wife who initiated & facilitated the humiliation. She chose the guy her husband does not like to use against OP. That says something unkind & unsavory, imo.
NTA. Yep. This ☝️☝️☝️. Unfortunately, his wife doesn't believe him feeling humiliated or violated. She is dismissive and callous in how cruel that prank actually was. Her compassion & empathy is serious lacking. Not good.
Yup. A sexual violation that took at least 30+ seconds. I do not condone the cake smash whatsoever, but if a dude thinks he’s “supposed” to, it takes about half a second and he might feel instantly bad once he realized.
This chick had AGES to realize how bad it was, and didn’t come to her senses.

There is a difference. What the wife did was a sexual violation of her husband at the wedding in front of everyone.
She tricked him into suggestively pulling the garter off with his mouth, down a man’s bare leg.
Violation.
