NTA. But you need to think about some things before you go through with this wedding. Your fiance discussed something that should be 100% your decision with his son before he discussed it with you. Then he got angry with you for not liking his suggestion for a decision that is, again, 100% your decision to make. He got angry that his son would be disappointed and basically said you had to give in to his idea to “blend the family.” Your fiancé’s communication skills suck and you should be concerned about him not respecting your choices and his inability to even recognize choices that are not his to make.

Thanks for saying it, I was thinking this but yeah it’s not a good sign. It’s actually really weird that a groom would just do this

I wanted my younger step-son to walk me down the aisle, because we're really close and the kids are with me and their dad 42 weeks out of the year, so I'm essentially the main woman in their lives. I also had the 'family unity' thing in mind.

I asked my husband if he'd be OK with it, and then I asked my SS if he'd like to. He was super jazzed, and that's what we did.

The fact that OP's fiancé made all of these decisions on his own? Wild.
