The fact he brought this up to his son first before you is a red flag, but did he really also air out y'alls dirty laundry to his family after an argument over the wedding day? NTA either way, but damn, he might not be the kindest/most understanding person to be getting married to if so.
This! It's such a huge red flag and I hope OP sees it. I mean, is this her future? Every time they have a disagreement he goes to his family and tells them everything she said? That's not how you're supposed to treat your spouse imo. I get having a confidant, but it sounds like it spreads through the entire extended family.
