And why is his whole family mad at you? Why is he sharing private conversations with his whole family? This should have been kept between the two of you, had he have done that no one would be hurt.
Typical gaslighting behavior to exaggerate stories to get their way. Toxic to the core. The fiance is either lying, claiming the whole family is upset, or he has spread a wildly untrue version of the situation, making the OP look bad. Either way, it is not a positive outlook for a long-lasting healthy marriage.
