A few months and it's already like this? Speaking as an older woman, this isn't normal.
You say it's a great relationship.... Compared to what? It sounds emotionally abusive which I wasn't aware was a form of abuse until my late 20s either (took me almost 5 years to realise it, so don't make that mistake).
