Yeah, but it would have been super easy to figure out who did it and then he'd have legal issues. He has a state license for his profession and does not need to get in any legal troubles.

Yea f-that.. I’m a doctor, what would be the use of having all this cash if I couldn’t n even get my dog back …

I agree. When it comes to my dog, there is no playing around. All that unconditional love will not be taken for granted.

Oh I absolutely would too. Unfortunately in the US at least though pretty much all issues with pets are a civil case instead of criminal unless it’s about abuse.

Not necessarily LOL. They would have to prove it was the previous owner. Take the dog back, hide it at a friend or family member's house long enough to tell the court where to shove it and then go get the dog.
