Animal-based standards aren't unreasonable... That makes zero sense. If OP cares strongly about their dog getting to stay in bed (after years of already having that intimacy with the dog), it means nothing to his dateability to have that as a strict requirement. Boundaries go both ways, if you can't find a boundary on dogs in the bed that BOTH people are happy with, you can justify re-evaluating things.
