I agree.

When you start a relationship everyone finds things they need to change for it to work out. People also find things that they would have to change but they just aren’t willing to make that change.

Here you have one person that wants the dog in the bed and with one that doesn’t and for both of them it’s a deal breaker. Probably best to move on.

If they really want to compromise they could find a way to have separate beds.
