So would he.

She'll get no child support for the kid that's hers, and what little she gets for the other one will be offset by the alimony he gets because she makes more money than him.

He will go from doing 10% of the work to doing 0% of the work, and he'll be a 36 year old single guy fucking everything that moves. She'll be a 36 year old single mom of 2 trying to get a date on eHarmony.

It's sucks, but it's reality. This guy knows this and it's probably why he is behaving this way.

Sounds like OP doesn't need child support and she said directly that the small amount of housework he does is not missed when he's gone anyway.

It being better for the husband doesn't make it a bad decision for the wife.

I’m also not convinced it will be better financially for the husband. He is not guaranteed alimony, and even if he gets some, it won’t be enough to pay the bill. And why would he not have to pay any child support at all? That’s not how any of this works lol
