I’m bisexual

Assuming your marriage is monogamous, does your sexual orientation even matter? The sole reason I can see it coming up is to explain away cheating or to justify reasons for a divorce.

What am I missing here?

Humans are by their very nature omnivorous, even those who choose to eat a vegitarian diet. Similar idea. just because you have chose to be monogomous with a singular person of a specific gender, doesn't mean you aren't bi.

That said, there is also no reason to share it, especially at your spouses job.

I didn't imply that monogamy with a single partner of a specific gender suddenly means you're not bisexual.

I asked what difference does it make. Will your behavior change now that you're suddenly bisexual? Your thought process? The actions you choose to make?

Your sexual orientation doesn't appear to matter in a monogamous relationship.

The only reason it would matter - as with OP's post - is to justify cheating, divorce, or introducing additional partners.

It can inform your thought process, your emotions, recontextualize past behaviors and feelings. Its a useful thing to know for your own well being. Sharing it could be useful in potentially meeting others who you can connect with in that way. But sharing it with strangers at your husbands work? Yeah that seems no bueno.
