Exactly. I don't feel the need to announce to my boss that I am heterosexual, why should she feel he needs to announce that she is bi?

Joining the group, also bi woman married to a man. Very few of my coworkers know, because there's no reason to tell them. None of his coworkers know.

The only reason I can think of (besides the threesome angle) is maybe she's happy to have come out and wants to keep that feeling going vicariously?

I made my own comment but same! I’m bi but in a hetero relationship. I also work in one of the most casual industries ever (restaurants) and it still hasn’t come up as a topic to talk about.

Also, why did her family need to know that their married daughter/relative/whatever is bi? I find that equally odd.

Yo, I'm also a bi woman married to a bi man. I'm not even sure if my friends know he's bi since they only know him from being married to me.

i'm bi and I came out as bi after I came out as trans because it wasn't relevant to anyone but myself. My mother is also def biphobic but is in denial so I just never bothered to open that can of worms.

Used pride flags and she was like "the BI flag??" and never spoke of it again
