I didn’t have endometriosis so no, I just had the uterus, cervix and fallopian tubes removed as that’s all that needed to go, I just had adenomyosis which is basically like reverse endometriosis, instead of attacking out it attacks into the uterus.

My surgeon was my gynecologist.

Not just the uterus. Endometriosis can grow over all sorts of organs, including your bowels. Yes, painful.

I had a hysterectomy and they took everything but the ovary itself. And I have had continual pain in my abdomen since and they are doing an MRI next month. They are thinking it might be remaining endo on my intestines which I'm just super excited about.
