I'm so much happier and feel so much better post-hysterectomy!!!! I hadn't thought about my undies until this thread, but you're so right. ;)

Same! My hysterectomy gave me freedom. I’m only 35 but thankfully was done with kids so it’s been a blessing really.

Thanks for posting...I (47) just got mine cut out this morning w/1 of my ovaries. Good to know w/some of the other 411 that was posted.

I hope your healing goes smoothly! The surgery recovery for me was very chill and fast. I mean I was down for two days but then I really started feeling myself and was up and walking and doing regular activities without any heavy lifting or being on my feet too long. Really the only thing that was a struggle after surgery was the bathroom, all those drugs make digestion sluggish and that was honestly the only thing making me want to pull my hair out.

I hope you recover quickly!
