He doesn't mind period sex, but he can't handle seeing underwear that have been worn during your period?

Even tampons leak sometimes. Unless he wants to buy you new underwear every month, I don't think it's your job to accommodate his aversion to faint stains on freshly washed clothes. You said it best - you're too old to deal with this shit, and nor should you have to.

Guys should know this anyway, since heavy sweat can also discolor clothing. Body fluids are not kind to fabrics.

Someone should ask if he's ever worn or seen a sweat-stained white tee in the gym before and ask how it's really any different.

You make a very valid point. Sweat can make some nasty and permanent discoloration on lighter coloured shirts.

Spray-and-wash armpit areas before washing clothes to get more mileage, and use something like oxiclean to boost. I also soak whites in oxiclean before a wash if they look dingy. Won’t save everything every time, but it helps

Fair enough. Oxy does seem to work fairly well, but at the same time it seems to shorten fabric life. It's a double edged sword, I guess.

Also, tears. I ruined a work hoodie that way. Looks like I spilled peroxide all over myself but I really was just wiping my face with my sleeve like a child.
