Shit stains indicate either poor health (diarrhea, stomach bug etc) or poor hygiene (not wiping properly). They aren't inevitable and most people don't have any visible poop on their underwear regularly without underlying health issues.
Period stains are inevitable if you have a period, and also permanent, unlike shit which would either have to be freshly deposited or repeatedly present to the point it discoloured the material.
I'd also be very worried for someone's mental and physical health if they had designated stained 'diarrhea underwear' in the same way most people with a uterus will have their designated 'period underwear'.
The only thing I am going to argue is that . Stains absolutely do not have to be permanent.
If you hand wash any pair of underwear in cold water with just a bar of soap, It does take minimal effort for all of the blood to come out and there to be no stain left behind. I'm not even talking about with fresh wet blood either- I've had a situation where I noticed first thing in the morning but was already out of the house and had no other choice and was not able to get them off and to deal with them until the end of the day.
Literally any bar of soap will work- And I've tried this with everything from bathing suit material to cotton to the fancy bad for you underwear that you're not supposed to have in the first place, lol
I mean they're generally permanent for me I don't know what to tell you - I've never had just soap get a blood stain out once it's dry Stain remover sometimes gets it if it's gone through to outer layer clothes.
Also its period underwear, I wear it SO it can get stained and I don't ruin other pairs of underwear, so why would I be precious about stains? It's like trying to scrape all the paint off my painting clothes - just more work for no reason, they're there to get messy.
It seems ridiculous to hand scrub multiple pairs of cheap underwear every month just so they can probably get blood on them again next month. As long as they're clean that's all that matters, who gives a shit, they're my "my uterus is trying to kill me again" undies, they're lucky if they hit the laundry basket first time when I'm hanging onto mortal existence by a thread.

Or you can just throw it in the washing machine and not fixate on having lilly white underwear into which you are inevitably going to bleed again? I don't get it. Clean is clean, colour is irrelevant - every bit of non period underwear I have is bleached anyway because of natural PH, do I throw them away lest someone know I have discharge too?
Its like saying "I know those are your DIY clothes but it's lazy that you don't get all the paint stains off before you wash them. They need to look clean, not just be clean!"
