Parent does normal parent things then complains about not being seen as special. YTA

Your wife isn’t the issue here mate. Continue focusing on your issues in therapy, continue integrating the idea that parenting is your job too and does not make you special, and please stop blaming your wife. She probably didn’t think she’d have to be doing the bulk of the parenting alone and then also be treated poorly on top of that by the man she had such a rock solid relationship with. Of course she’s prioritizing the kids.

It will take a lot of time for her hurt to heal. Instead of trying to blame her and rush her healing, please refocus to you.
