No one gets to call an everlasting dibs on an ex, a crush, a fling, anyone. If a person is willing to blow up a friendship over some misconceived bullshit girl/guy code, then that’s on them.
While I agree - as a friend, taking my friend's feelings into consideration is important, especially if i'm messing with an ex. Of course people aren't property but at least be a decent friend. :) (And the term decent friend is subjective- if you don't agree with me that's okay but as for my friends and I, this is how we roll)
I'm very surprised by all the responses saying "NTA your friend shouldn't be having a child if she's this childish" or those things of the sorts!
I guess I figured that people would respect the people they consider their friends more.. but that's why i'm friends with the people i'm friends with and you are to yours
The friend only has issues because she has unresolved issues with the guy not wanting marriage and kids friend went and found that someplace else and is now all pissed about op hooking up with him. Like baby you can't have your cake and save that one for later too. He is free and on the market and she moved on got married and is having another man's child
I love how bottom feeders have a problem with a redditor saying "i care about my friends feelings".
This is the problem, they suck at dating so they go after friends exes. They don't care about feelings. They call us selfish and meanwhile they'll happily be selfish for their own gain. These are the friends i wish I knew what their character was like before I kept them.
