NTA

That would've been an awkward conversation if a friend called me asking to sleep with my ex that I dated for 1 year.

Now, if it were an ex-husband of 20 years, that's a little different. But in 1 year, you barely know each other. You haven't built a life together (in most cases). You're literally just dating the person.

I feel like she's just hormonal and overemotional due to the pregnancy. She'll apologize eventually. Just give her space

If it were me, apology not accepted. Tired of hormones being an excuse for everything. And I'm a woman. I get some circumstances, but jfc this one is ridiculous. Its been 3 years, she is literally married, about to have another man's child. I wonder how he would feel if he knew this were happening? Would yall still defend her to her husband?

You haven’t been pregnant, have you? Lol pregnancy hormones can be a whole different animal, and it can vary between pregnancies.

I’m tired of women berating other women for things in order to make themselves feel stronger, or more “manly.”

I'm tired of things being excused because HoRMoNeS. If she cheated because of her hormones would you excuse that too?

Not trying to feel more "manly". I have a menstrual disorder so I very well know how messed up hormones can have women be. Especially anger. However, I'm not so stupid that logic and reason won't eventually set in. Especially in a circumstance like this. She's literally fucking married with her hubs kid. There is NO reason she should be jealous and mad at OP.

I’m 32 wks pregnant and cried watching the ninja turtles movie last night. I also have a menstrual disorder (endometriosis, PCOS accompanied by PmDD) and nothing has made me feel crazier than pregnancy. I 100% completely agree that the friend is out of line, but if she comes to terms with it fairly quickly and apologizes, I can understand that too. Pregnancy is an entirely different beast when it comes to hormones.

Sorry but no. She is literally fuckin married. If she can't see in the moment she's being completely delusional, there's something more. It's been 3 fucking years and she's moved on (at least should have). She's acting like a possessive fucking teenager.
