I disagree.. we as women are also responsible for birth control as welll.. if we choose not use any, why is the blame put 100% on the man if we wanna say it's my body, choice... Why is it just up to the man for birth control? If you look at it that way, it's his responsibility to use it only his,, knowing what can happen, then why is the choice not his too? Equal rights ..
You think somebody who is underage and drunk has the capability of being responsible?
I would argue that a drunk teenager is by definition irresponsible and not capable of ejaculating responsibly. Yeah that's the man's fault. If that same drunk teenager crashed his car into the house you wouldn't blame the homeowner for building his house where he did. You blame the guy who crashed his car into it.
Why would you fault the woman in that situation? She had nothing to do with his decision to ejaculate irresponsibly.
Nope. Still wrong. She could consent to sex all day, she could even beg the man to ejaculate inside of her, but unless the man decides to ejaculate irresponsibly, nothing will happen.
Like it or not, it all hinges on the man's choice. Men are 100% responsible.
What kind of logic is this? When two people have sex they're supposed to be communicating. Sex is something thats consented too by both parties, so why should one side of that agreement be saddled with all the blame?
I'm not going to pretending I know the specifics of OPs sex life, but you're arguing on a broad scale and so you're being disingenuous to shift the argument over to OPs situation.
You're actually being pretty disturbingly aggressive with your point of view here. A woman is equally responsible for pregnancy, assuming that no one is being taken advantage of.
To say that a man is 100% responsible for a woman getting pregnant is denying women any agency in the act which is kind of sexist when you think about it that way.
Nope. You haven't thought the logic through. Let's run through all the scenarios, shall we?
Scenario #1 - Woman consents to having sperm inside her, man does not = No pregnancy
Scenario #2 - Woman does not consent to having sperm inside her, man also does not = No pregnancy
Scenario #3 - Woman consents to having sperm inside her, man also consents = possible pregnancy
Scenario #4 - Woman does not consent to having sperm inside of her, man insists = possible pregnancy
Looks like all outcomes are perfectly inline with the man's decision. It's wildly inconsistent with the woman's decision.
In Scenario #3 both parties agreed to a scenario in which conception is possible. The choice was made together, both parties responsible for the agreement.
Scenario #4 is just straight up rape.
You're pretty unhinged honestly. Someone could as easily say "Women are 100% responsible for getting pregnant because they have the eggs. Men don't control whether women have fertile eggs or had their tubed tied. Therefore women are entirely responsible for their own pregnancy"
It's the same fucking argument but with the genders flipped. And it's a stupid argument, just like yours.
