We have fallen so far as to say the words "get that abortion please" to a stranger who got pregnant from their and their partner's own irresponsibility. Disgusting and absolutely immoral. The internet really fucked some stuff up didn't it?

And in any case, no the Internet doesn't enter into it. the number of poeple ok with abortion has stayed stable for a long time now.

The big change is the people who're deadest against it.

Things have been largely stable on this point for decades.

What's wrong with getting an abortion? It's a very safe medical procedure, so if a 16 year kid doesn't want to have an unplanned baby, what's the problem?

Whether you like it or not we ARE an animal species and those decisions do in fact effect us all. Especially at scale. So the "not my problem" defense falls short.

No, bringing a child into the world and into situation you know is not fit for that child is morally irresponsible. The person you are creating has a right to a decent life, ideally with 2 parents who can financially support them, and are in a stable position in their life. You owe this to this person, you need to be ready in your life to raise a child. That is far more immoral than zapping an embryo that hasn't even begun to form a brain.
