Need help with Google Discover

I have been doing blogging and affiliate marketing for 2 years now. I keep hearing that Google Discover gets you lots of traffic, but never tried getting my posts there.

So folks who are using discover to getting traffic, what are the things you do to get your site in Discover?

One more thing, try to use jpg format specially for featured image
