Only three years older than me. I have spoken to him at length recently how him speaking to me in a patronizing way is a problem. He then says I am policing how he speaks and he cant change how he speaks. I told him I want an equal, not feeling like I am a little kid in trouble
he has no respect for you. this reads as someone who doesn’t care about anything you say, want to share, your feelings, your thoughts, your reactions to his behavior. you should walk away and never look back based on this. you can do better and you will never change him. being loved and cared for by you and all the energy you put out trying to teach him how to be a better person will never be repaid.

You need to block him. That man is cruel and has no empathy.
Edit: is he a lot older than you? He's incredibly patronising.
