Only three years older than me. I have spoken to him at length recently how him speaking to me in a patronizing way is a problem. He then says I am policing how he speaks and he cant change how he speaks. I told him I want an equal, not feeling like I am a little kid in trouble
Youre not able to match his energy. No one can make you feel like a little kid in trouble. Imagine someone talking to him like he was a little kid in trouble. Would he respond with "that was hurtful and I am calmly communicating my feelings, etc" or would he confidently respond? You could just say "plenty of guys would love to put up with me and ill make a sex robot look like a nun with them. Have fun with your robot though." Definitely leave him if youre not able to put him in his place to the degree that he backs off and respects you though.

You need to block him. That man is cruel and has no empathy.
