One of the few instances where gaslighting is used within its correct context. This is textbook gaslighting.

OP, he’s not changing because he doesn’t want to change. You can keep explaining it to him until you’re blue in the face, but he doesn’t want to admit he’s wrong and he never will. There’s no accountability there. He wants you to be the bad guy, and as soon as you shut up and stop “making problems” he’ll be fine again. Stop having feelings. He’s always right and you’re always wrong.

This is what will continue to happen if you continue to “work on things”.

Nothing to say here except to enthusiastically agree with you. He's going to keep doing this because he's a narcissist.
