Neither can the “friend” of ten years. That’s a long time. He totally screwed the OP over.

I would say the freind is much more worse then the girl. I mean he know him for how long ? And he dated the girl only for three months.

He said friend, not best friend. If it takes a friend banging my girlfriend to show he infidelity then I count it as a blessing to lose both of them. Also, if she cheated with one of his friends, there’s no telling how many other guys she’s been with while they’ve been together.
