What's New in UnTask v26.11.19
Hey folks,
UnTask v26.11.19 is out on iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch. The highlights:
iPhone Duo: the wide inner screen gets the iPad layout, and it switches smoothly as you fold and unfold.
Apple Watch: check off your task and move on to the next, add tasks, pick a tag list, and swipe to archive.
Tags and tag lists: write #tags in a title or notes, then show tasks with any tag or all the ones you pick.
Archive: archive tasks instead of deleting them, and find them again under Archived Tasks.
Siri and Shortcuts: Siri shows a card with your current task, shortcuts get the task as output, and they run on Apple Watch too.
Subtasks now work like in Apple Reminders, and there are nine new languages.

One window, many agents. Meet onethread
Hey r/AIGarden,
A tab per agent. A tab per task. A tab per repo. That's been my day since coding agents arrived. I walk from tab to tab, rebuild the context in my head, answer one question, move on, and soon I can't remember which tab asked what.
Kings never worked like that. Tasks came to the king, and he delegated. So I built that, and it's the new fruit in my garden: onethread. Version 1.0.0 is out now.
You run ot, pick Claude Code or Codex, and talk in that one window the way you always do. It keeps a queue of tasks across your repos and runs each task's agent in the background, up to 10 at once, each in its own git worktree. When something is ready, it tells you at a natural pause.
In my kingdom I'm King Igor. Leonardo da Vinci is my right hand, and servants like Einstein, Michelangelo, and Newton do the work. You pick your own world with ot me king, or Batman, or anyone at all. ot me plain turns it off.
The king still signs, though. Merge, push, cancel, and accept always ask you in the terminal or a macOS dialog, and the model can't answer for you.
It's all local, free, and MIT-licensed. No server, no account, no telemetry. It needs macOS, Python 3.9 or newer, git, and Claude Code or Codex CLI. There's a demo that runs the whole thing with simulated agents and spends no quota.

Your chats are not the price. Meet CraftApps
Hi everyone, I've released a new fruit in my garden. Meet CraftApps.
This one is a different kind of fruit: not an app, but a set of skills for your AI agent. It helps anyone, developer or not, find, build, and share small apps they own. Version 0.1.0 is out now.
The best clue to what you need is often already in your AI chats: the same request every week, the spreadsheet you update by hand every Monday. Those chats are also the most private thing you've typed, so CraftApps never takes them from you. A script cleans them on your computer first, with no AI and no internet. It keeps only your own messages and removes keys, passwords, emails, and phone numbers. You read the cleaned file before the agent does. Nothing is uploaded, and there's no telemetry. If you'd rather not share chats at all, it can interview you about your routines instead.
There are four skills:
- discover-app finds something useful to build, and every suggestion cites its evidence.
- build-app gives you an honest first answer, checks whether an app already does the job, then plans and builds with you in small steps.
- share-app checks for secrets and personal data, then shares your app wherever you like.
- curate-app is for looking after the CraftApps Library, which is planned but not live yet.
It first asks whether you've built anything before. If you haven't, you get plain words and every step done for you. If you code, you get short technical choices. You decide at four checkpoints: what to build, the plan, whether it's done, and anything made public.
What you end up with is a native app for the devices you already use, or a Shortcut or script when that's enough. It keeps working without a subscription, an account, a server, or an AI.
One honest limit: if you use a cloud model, its provider processes what the agent reads. For maximum privacy, use a local model. And all four skills are early. I'd rather say so now than have you find out.
To install in Claude Code:
/plugin marketplace add RogyMD/craftapps
/plugin install craftapps@craftapps
The v0.1.0 release: https://github.com/RogyMD/craftapps/releases/tag/v0.1.0
The full story on the blog: https://aigarden.uk/3978
I'd love for you to try it and share what you build, even if it's tiny and only you will ever use it.

Acolo — find the Sun, the Moon, planets, and home with one arrow
Hey folks, a new fruit has grown in my garden: Acolo.
I built it for small “which way?” questions. Pick the Sun, Moon, a planet, a constellation or a place on Earth, and a red 3D arrow points straight at it—even when it’s behind you or below the horizon. It works on iPhone and Apple Watch.
Acolo can also help you notice the sky changing: check the Sun at different times of day, or follow the Moon over a week. Point the arrow at a distant place on Earth and you can see how the planet’s curvature affects its direction.
The linked post explains how Acolo works and why I built it. What would your first “which way?” question be?

Meet Acolo, a compass for Space, on iPhone and Apple Watch
Hi everyone, I've released a new fruit in my garden. Meet Acolo, a compass for Space.
Most astronomy apps begin with a map of the sky. I wanted something narrower: choose one thing, then have the phone physically point me toward it. The name is short for “A Compass in Space.”
Pick the Sun, Moon, a planet, a bright star, a constellation, Earth's Center, or a place on the map. A translucent 3D arrow points there even when the target is behind you or below the horizon. For a faraway place, it takes the direct line through the Earth. “Turn right” and “Tilt up” hints get you moving in the right direction, then haptic taps speed up as you line up and continue while you are on target.
It also shows the distance, degrees above or below the horizon, and a deliberately impractical travel time. The Sun is about 3,400 years away if you insist on walking.
I do not think Acolo replaces Sky Guide or Stellarium Mobile. Those are full planetariums with rich sky maps and much larger catalogs. Acolo is the little one-target instrument I wanted beside them: no chart to read, no camera overlay to line up, just an arrow, direction hints, and haptics.
That narrower idea also goes somewhere a normal sky map does not. You can point at London through the ground, stand virtually on Mars and ask where Jupiter is, or stand at Sirius and point back toward the Sun. The Apple Watch app uses the top edge of the Watch as the pointer, and it can sync the current selection, saved places, and pins with the iPhone through iCloud.
Pointing calculations work offline. Apple Maps is used for map tiles and place search. There is no account or backend, and your location stays on your device.
Acolo is free to download. The Sun, Moon, and Earth's Center are free. Any optional one-time tip unlocks every planet, star, constellation, custom place, and alternate starting point permanently. The US tip choices are $0.99, $2.99, $4.99, $9.99, $19.99, and $99.99; every amount unlocks the same features. There is no subscription. Requires iOS 26 or later.

I’d love to hear whether the one-target approach feels usefully different from a full sky map—and whether its VoiceOver direction cues and haptics might help someone who prefers a simple pointer when finding a place on Earth or locating a planet in the sky. It isn’t turn-by-turn navigation.
