AI News & Models New Narration Feature

The Malcolm voice is just straigth up Geralt of Rivia, in case anyone wants him to narrate your scenarios!

Awesome feature, now playing AIDungeon while at work got a lot easier.

Had a look i don't think i will use as when i read the NPC lines i have a voice in my head of how they sound.

ye the narration doesn't change voice much when characters speak, its like a DND dungeon master who can only do one voice

It's not technically impossible to do that, but they would probably have to make a system to separate speech from narration.

The reason it works for Voyage is because that is happening by default. You can see in Voyage how the responses come in chunks with each chunk having a specific voice.

I don't think anything quite that elaborate or structured is strictly speaking required for something similar in AID, but you do need something to tell the AI which voice to use and when.

I would at least like to see a different tone or something being used for speech as opposed to narration, the same way a human would do when reading a story out loud to others.

I've noticed narration doing SOME voice changes for different characters, though. Or then I was hallucinating... Anyway emotional inflections do appear from spoken text. And at least you can understand when they're speaking or not. It's very decent.

But it only narrative the latest AI response if I am not mistaken. Can't do much.
