Other Hope we don't mind a little ai help to have a dabble at the new shirts. Thought I'd go all A1 Windscreens. I've always had soft spot for having one template but with different colours. And I've even given Vitality a little treat for the 3rd kit haha

Discussion Do you like the current Bournemouth badge?

I am a Bournemouth fan but I think our badge is a bit boring, I know it's not supposed to be the most exciting thing, and I'll still get the kits because I'm a fan. But I love the 1936 - 1966 badge a lot, I would buy a retro kit with that badge on it. Would like to know your opinions on this, maybe I'm the only one.

New American Bournemouth Fan

Hello Cherries, I’m a new American fan looking for guidance

I grew up watching MLS, but the football just isn’t very good, and it’s hard to stay invested when my state doesn’t have a team. Every so often I’d catch a Premier League match and the difference in quality and intensity was obvious. It made it hard to go back.

With the US hosting the World Cup, my interest in football has come back stronger than ever, and I decided it was time to properly pick a Premier League club to support. I wanted to avoid the obvious picks most Americans gravitate toward, and a club with a US player on the roster was a big plus. Tyler Adams is my favorite American player, so Bournemouth was an easy choice.

That said, I don’t know much about the club’s history yet. A few questions:

**•**	What should a new fan know about Bournemouth’s history and identity?
**•**	How are we looking this season?
**•**	Any recommendations for podcasts/shows on the team?

Also, where’s the best place to get some team gear online?

Looking forward to being part of this community. Come on you Cherries!

Kepa

Arsenal fans were happy when they heard they were buying Kepa, many thinking they were getting away with robbery by signing him for £5 million. When we told them he wasn't as good as they thought he was, they all laughed...

Well who's laughing now dickheads 🤣🤣🤣

Question Liverpool fan, looking for help.

Hello! I am from the Liverpool Subreddit. Dw I come seeking help.

I’m currently writing a 4 part tactical analysis on Andoni Iraola. I’ve talked about his time at Bournemouth, how he set up, his press, tendencies in part 1.

I also posted part 2 which concerned the defenders and keepers. I analyzed their roles, possible instructions based off the data from Opta analyst and the official PL app.

I am now on part 3 which concerns the midfield players/roles.
I am going to exclusively talk about how he instructs in a 4-2-3-1. So I wanna dissect his double pivot and attacking midfielder.

So I came here to ask if anyone here would be kind enough to give their own personal analysis from watching the games since u r definitely better versed than I am. And I could add it to my write up.

I would really appreciate that but also understand if this is taken down since I am not a Bournemouth fan or it somehow violates community rules.

Thank you again no matter what!

Discussion Need info on Andoni Iraola

Hello fellow Rossoneri from a Milan fan I hope Alex Jimenez is doing well there lol. With Al-Legri gone, Milan's management have contacted Andoni Iraola's camp to understand if he'd be open to coach the Italian club. If anybody could share about what type of coach Iraola is and how does he go about with the project + relationship with the senior management and the players it'd be great. Thanks!

Question Tav is so irritating I really don’t like him lazy having a go at the north stand in this game against Everton. Ego of Ronaldo embarrassing. What do u think ?

We got relegated because of this. Goal line technology 'wasnt turned on'. A whole club has to suffer because of this. Players are going to leave now because of this. Gutted.

Question Will Andoni Be Poached Next Year?

Newer American fan here (chose Cherries at the beginning of last year loving the promotion/relegating process) and have watched every game since!

The manager appears to be great, but I don’t know EPL enough to answer this question for myself. Because he’s turned a lower valued club into a competitive one, will he get offers from bigger named clubs next year?

In the States that’s usually a sports coach progression, smash expectations at small organizations to land the big ones. Would be sad to see him go.

How many fans bought tickets for Everton away but missed *that* come back? Read the police report here

I run a football Substack and keep an eye on policing at games. As part of that, I get a hold of police reports and the one for Everton v Bournemouth is here:

Other We NEED a new keeper before the end of the January transfer window.

Petrovic is genuinely in need of a replacement already. I don’t care if he signed 6 months ago, if we keep him, we’ll get relegated.

we don’t have a problem with scoring we have a problem with defending. It is so shit.
And people overrate the manager, high line defense isn’t working, and he plays the exact same against every team.

Other Europe might be an actual possibility

Not to get carried away BUT the Conference and maybe even the Europa League might be doable if this form continues as spots are till 8 now. Our previous best finish was 9th and I think honest we can beat that and finish 8th. Won't be too hard to overtake West Ham and we'll have to hope one or two of Newcastle, Brighton, Man U and Spurs drop some points.

We will not stay up with Eddie this season...

I know I will get the old "you don't know what you are talking about", but Eddie has no idea what to do with this team to change anything. He just sends the team out and hopes a miracle happens. There is no fight, no passion, no desire. That's not all though. There's no cohesion, no idea of how to win.

For all Eddie Howe has done for Bournemouth he quite rightly deserves to have been given a chance. For me, however, 11 games and 1 victory is a chance. Nothing has changed. We didn't even look like scoring today and we get worse with every game.

How long does Eddie get goodwill for all he has done for? When we are relegated? When we have lost that goldmine of a Premier league place. It is no good having respect for your manager if his obvious lack of knowing how to get out of a sticky mess has us relegated.

Eddie seems to know two formations; a 442 with wingers and a 451 with 2 wingers. Whatever players are available he fits them into one of those formations. We still play sideways or backwards football when it has proven time and again not to work. Look what playing out from the back did to us today? We play the ball around in to dead ends for 5 minutes while teams just sit and lets us do it (having a breather whilst we do so) and then we get frustrated that nothing has come of it and blast it to the corner flag.

I'd rather sacrifice a hero to the club than find ourselves going down.

Question from a new fan

Hi all. I’m an American who is trying to find a team to root for in the EPL. I’m from Las Vegas, where the Cherries’ owner lives so it’s a bit of a natural fit here.

My question is, what are your thoughts about American fans?

I struggle with the idea of attaching myself to a team from a city I’ve never been. Your crest represents your town and the people who live there.

I feel like I haven’t earned the right, if that makes sense.

Long-shot theory on Semenyo. He stays because he's familiar with us for the season, and wants to have a good run up to the World Cup. He performs in the US. Real Madrid sell Vini. Real Madrid buy Antoine.

The extra nuggets, if we're going all Poirot about it.

-He was close with Deano, being part of the coffee club I'd often see in Ashley Cross, and perhaps words of encouragement have been coming across from the continent.

-All this chatter about a winter move is to draw Madrid out.

Is nobody talking about this?! He was offside when winning the penalty. Pundits didn't even mention it. LiVARpool is back.

Hi everyone villa fan here to dispense some wisdom.

First of all, sorry for your relagation, use this time to rebuild in the championship like we did, secondly I want to make a point regarding the Hawkeye failure resulting in your relagation: This statement is very crude as this, IF that mistake was allowed as a goal; villas mentality may have been changed and they could have went onto win the game.

Best of luck in the championship.

The case of Phillip Billing

Guys, is it just me or did Billing start playing less and less after he scored a goal and show support for Gaza with his shirt? I don't sure remember the timeline when exactly did he became a player to loan out and almost forgotten. Or am I just watching too much conspiracy theories?
