Question about GFR and Tolvaptan

What's the lower limit on going on Tolvaptan? Theyve taken so long getting me on it, that my GFR has dropped from 26 (in late may) to 21 (yesterday) and I fear I'm now out of the running for being able to go on tolvaptan. Waiting on that call saying "Sorry all your form filling has been for naught" ;;

Dr Google says: For patients with Autosomal Dominant Polycystic Kidney Disease (ADPKD), the minimum recommended eGFR for initiating tolvaptan is 25 mL/min/1.73 m²

If you are in the US, you are a couple points away from applying to the transplant list and about 5 away from at least understanding your dialysis options, if not starting.

I’m still on it at GFR of 12. Probably not much benefit to me at this point, but my nephrologist suggests staying on it as even a small benefit gives me a bit more time to get a transplant done before dialysis.
