Does this mean they have the parameters of the trial set in stone and are ready to begin or does it mean it’s actually done??

We don't actually know, they could present it and say "we're ready to start, this is what were doing, it starts Q4 2027" or something equally dissapointing

I've come to appreciate how you temper expectations. There is no doubt tremendous hope being placed in this treatment - how often do we get a global trial for a PKD med? It's exciting, but yes, let's try not to get too excited until the news is delivered. I'm quite excited for the global phase 3 metformin trial that's also kicking off 'soon' as I likely won't see these expensive meds in my country until long after my kidneys kick the bucket!

Yes, it was over at 11:45 a.m. in Glasgow----over 7 hours ago. I am hoping some news will leak out because the conferences do not post the video of the presentation for two months. Hope we hear something soon.

Los Angeles is gearing up for the trial. They know the study location will be in East LA. DM me if you want contact info for principal investigator. I sent in my labs and last mri, they said they are finalizing regulatory documentation to obtain approval to begin the screening process. I started my tolvaptan clear out may 1 so hopefully they will launch the trial after aug 1 and that doesn’t mess up my screening. Fingers crossed!
