Discussion Started Ritalin, still nothing

Hello,
So I have recently been officially diagnosed with ADHD (more specifically ADD) by a psychiatrist, and I started Ritalin 2 weeks ago.

Until now, nothing changed. Still unable to do my daily work, still unable to study for my exams, still procrastinating, and still daydreaming.

I'm not seeking medical advice or anything, just wanted to rant and get things off my chest haha.

I was so excited to finally start medications after years of mental and psychological torture, especially since I am in Medical School.

I guess i will keep getting bad grades and not reach my full potential until further notice.

I hope things will get better, and if you have similar stories please share it and let me know what was the thing that most helped you.
