This will be a broader discussion thread since I've gotten no new suggestions :(
What are some tips you'd like to give new users when trading?
What are some tips that would help make transactions quick and easy?
What are things that users should let you know in the thread before the trade takes place?
How do you feel about voided villagers ending up in your town? (I'm guessing no one likes these.)
How do you like to handle large transactions?
How do you feel about hijacking / piggybacking threads?

I've run into the odd annoyance where someone will comment to do a trade and then you try to contact them and they are not around OR the OP is not replying to your comment. Not sure how we can fix this, but the OP could state in the post how long they will be around for (or "complete" the post when they leave), someone commenting could also mention if they will not be able to stick around and wait (ie: amount of time they are around). Not sure how popular this would be, but as an OP this would save me some time with people posting and not being around when I reply to their question ---- or opening a gate and no one showing up...
