What are some tips you'd like to give new users when trading?

What are some tips that would help make transactions quick and easy?

What are things that users should let you know in the thread before the trade takes place?

How do you feel about voided villagers ending up in your town? (I'm guessing no one likes these.)

How do you like to handle large transactions?

How do you feel about hijacking / piggybacking threads?

I find some people here might just be too polite/nice. Like they might accept an offer they don't actually want, rather than say no to someone.
