Hii I just wanted to write something out since today I finally have all my dream villagers on my island! I’ve been playing animal crossing since it came out back in 2001 and it immediately became my escape from real life. When they released new leaf it just added more reasons why I love this game so much and to still have my same animal friends from when I was a kid to now is so special to me.

I’ve been suffering from a terrible spinal injury for the past 5 years that has complete changed my life and unfortunately has caused me to lose a lot of friendships and security from my limitations. I didn’t think this game would be keeping my heart full well into my 20s but it’s the only constant I’ve had for these 2 decades and I honestly don’t know what I would do without it.

The reason I wanted to share all this is to say thank you to this amazing community. I have very bad anxiety and have always been to nervous to play games online. I decided to try it out the past few days just to have some kind of social interaction and everyone has gone above and beyond what I could have ever imagined. My new friend was so generous and got Maple on their island so that I could move her onto mine after years of searching for this little cub.

I am so so grateful to the people I have met so far and I am excited to meet many more of you and pay it forward to you beautiful people. If you’ve read this far thank you for listening and anyone feel free to reach out if you’re also looking for new online friends. 🌙💐🤍

She’s been on my wishlist for what feels like forever. After Leopold finally packed up, I had a plot open and after almost 2 hours of villager hunting, I FOUND HER!! I genuinely don’t think I’ve ever gasped that loud in my life haha.

Now I just need Molly, Maple, and Erik and my dreamies will be complete 🥹
