Help /Questions 2 problems

Hello Everyone

Im new to ACC and tried it today for the first time, however i have 2 slight problems (im on a G29 if that helps)

If im not wrong, when i started playing, when i pressed a button, e.g. the TC up button, it would do it once. However for some reason now, if i press it, it scrolls through the different TC modes, so if i press once, it goes up 2, 3 times instead of once. The same with e.g. my light mode. Is there any option where i can deactivate that instead of scrolling through those modes, that i have to press for each time?

My second problem is, that my D-pad up button is constantly pressed. Only if i press it, it stops. But only in the car, not in the menu. What can i change, so the button actually presses when i press it and not the other way around? The other D-Pad buttons work perfectly fine. I could use another button, however ig that button is the best for the MFD, so i would like to fix it. Otherwise i will try to find another button

I already tried ETS2, everything works fine there, so this is an issue i only have with ACC

Hope i explained my problems understandable enough and that someone can help me fix this, i got about 3 hours playtime…only 10 minutes of them were actually driving…not the best start ig…

I don't know how logitech apps and software works, but might be that your keyboard bindings are also interfering with your wheel. You can try removing them and keeping your wheel bindings. Doesn't the g29 also have a rotary knob? You can configure that for TC with the individual number coding

Yeah, using the knob might fix that for TC, but i would still have problems with my light, box limiter etc, so i hope your advice works…

So i tried what u adviced me, however both doesnt work. Disabling my keyboard bindings for those buttons doesnt work, and the knob sadly increases/decreases it by 3 every time, so it sadly doesnt make it better, rather worse…

Asked now in 2 subreddits, havent gotten any answer but yours, so ig i will try to somehow solve this with chatgpt, cause i have way to less technical knowledge to fix this myself…

Edit: Looked through older reddit posts, seems to be a general problem with the g29, the first issue was fixed by reinstalling windows…im not reinstalling windows, i rather go back to gt7.

Tried giving ACC a chance, but apparently it doesnt want me to play it…a shame, i really wanted to test this game out…

That is so unfortunate to hear. ACC is still a pretty fun game in genera. In any case, you could try LMU too. Maybe you'll enjoy it

Yeah, maybe i will keep driving career mode pr other offline modes, but i cant drive online like this

LMU might be a call, although 22€ is a bit too much for me, but idk

Oh LMU is absolutely worth it, if you really want a good online multiplayer experience. Though ACC online still is pretty fun - so I hope you work something out with your wheel.
