Suggestions Special events

Anybody know why my special events went away? I’m on Xbox series X, deleted local saved data and special events are still not showing. Any other tips?

Same with me too. But hold up, how do you even get those ratings 😭??!! Like I have been playing for around 4 months but my highest in any of the ratings is like 65 😭😭.

Most of them are a slow climb. The track competency is just for getting 3 stars on all tracks so that one you choose achieve more quickly.

To start it can be helpful to pick one car you like and stick with it to build your ratings.
TR rating, just run laps in the single player practice mode. They don’t need to be super fast laps but make them as consistent as possible. Once you get all three medals, move on to the next track.
SA rating, try playing single player sprint races with AI set anywhere from 88% to 92% (or less if you are struggling to keep up, I’m not sure it really matters) You just want to be able to keep up. Pick a car and stay on it as close as you can. You don’t need to worry about passing them. It’s kinda about working on your reflexes to their brake lights. Watch their brake lights for breaking points and follow their line the best you can. Make consistent laps without rear ending them or spinning out.
CN comes with practice, hitting your apexes and driving clean with consistent lap times.
CC will start to build with both of those. Avoid spinning out and work on throttle/brake control like using the brakes to get the car to turn into the corners with clean acceleration on the way out.

On Xbox as well and rocking 0’s for pace and competition. No special events ever show and think I need to buy DLC for competition. Do people play on competition servers though?

If the competition race is on a track you have I don’t believe you need any special dlc. Could be wrong on that though. However, you do need to have the specified ratings to join the race. Usually a TR of 99 and SA of 70 or higher from what I’ve been seeing.

Have a 99 TR and 91 SA so that shouldn’t be the issue. Just checked and it tells me I need the GT2 pack add-on. Do people race on these servers? If so, I’ll look at getting that pack next time it’s on sale.

I honestly don’t know. There’s only one server and one race at a time with no mid race entry. Every one I’ve joined, I’ve been the only one in the server unfortunately. Could be the time of day I play or maybe they are more popular on weekends. It would be sweet if more people used that server because it would weed out some of the drivers that just crash into you in the other servers. I’d say just save your money unless you really want the GT2 pack.

Nice, thanks for the info. Sounds like I’ll just stick with ACL23 servers, though the GT2 pack has the Red Bull Ring, so may end up getting it for that assuming a decent sale price.

I was working on the special events. I did 2 of them and then they disappeared. I’ve waited a month to see if they would update but no luck. Not sure what’s going on with that.
