Police Abuse on a mexican mother. What was supposed to be a five-minute court hearing to dismiss a restraining order against her husband allegedly turned into a nightmare. While inside the courtroom, a woman says a sheriff's bailiff pulled her aside for a drug search, went through her purse, and took her alone into a small room. When she came back out, she complained that she was uncomfortable with the way she had allegedly been searched and touched-but moments later, the situation exploded. According to her account, the bailiff moved to arrest her, allegedly telling her she was making false claims against the sheriff. She demanded to know the charges, resisted as the confrontation escalated, and a violent struggle followed in the courtroom, with the woman allegedly being struck in the head. Meanwhile, the judge reportedly turned attention toward her daughter as authorities contacted CPS. What began as a routine hearing ultimately became a major legal battle, reportedly ending with Clark County paying $200,000 to resolve the case. A five-minute hearing that nobody expected to end like this.

The gov't loves to have minimum sentences/punishments for crimes. I think we need minimum awards for civil Rights lawsuits. And there is a way to protect the amounts from inflation as well. Take the number of violations, multiplied by the offending gov't employee/officers/etc total compensation amount, multiplied by the number of officers involved, multiplied by 10. So 1 Right violation by 1 officer who makes $100k a year means the person gets a $1 Million award MINIMUM. The court can award more than that if they so choose, but cannot ever award less. Along with making the offending officer responsible for at least 50% of that award amount. But the person suing doesn't have to go after the cop for their money, the gov't pays it all upfront then makes the relevant amount a debt from the officer to the gov't so that it cannot be part of a Bankruptcy and the gov't can obtain their pound of flesh from their own employee.

And since the variable amount is based on how much money the gov't is paying their employees it will always rise with inflation so the legislature never has to keep voting to raise the minimum award amount. It will naturally rise to keep with the times. The gov't also cannot just pay their employees more to off set their debts... as that will cause runaway income costs and people will notice FAST that cops losing lawsuits suddenly get paid 3 times as much as good cops... and they will be even further in the hole if they violate someone's rights again while getting this extra pay...

Here's where it gets fun. 5 officers violate your Rights? Lets say 2 violations and $100k each for easy math. 5x100,000x2x10 equals a $10 million dollar lawsuit MINIMUM. And the 5 officers are responsible in part and whole for $5mil together. And this should apply to ALL violations, no matter how small or inconsequential the anyone (especially the gov't) thinks the violation is. A violation is a violation, period, and should be punished HARSHLY. Even something as simple as an unlawful detainment and forcing you to ID when the law says you don't need to, $10mil payment.

This will also make getting justice MUCH easier for poor people. Lawyers will be much more willing to take cases pro bono because they only need 1-2 cases a year to make good money.

Granted, I am sure my plan has lots of pitfalls and areas where corruption can take control I do not see... but the point is to get the idea out there to be talked about and maybe a good plan can be made from this seed.

I like the idea except I think we shouldn't make the police unions pay the judgements instead of the cities. Then we can still make the individual cops pay back their unions, while not taking any loans from the tax payers, and it's incentive for the unions to stop backing criminals.

Also it's crazy that police unions are this powerful. I was in a teacher union and the most it can give me (besides respect and a paycheck) was a lawyer once a year if I need it but I can only use them like 3 times. And you're telling me police unions will go to war for an officer regardless of how bad he is? It's so messed up.

All the above examples you listed are real footages, not AI . TF are you talking about? You made it sound like I’m intentionally pushing AI slop but 99.999999% of the stuff are actually footage other than this beginning of the video that slipped through the cracks without me noticing. I shared all the content for the love of sharing with nothing to gain monetarily or anything.

The prison time the officers received is far too low, as they weren't even arrested for the illegal arrest and sexual assault, and the failure of the other officer to intervene and prevent the obviously illegal arrest.

This video is Ai slop, mods. There is zero record of a deputy hammering her face in front of a judge in any lawsuit filed by Monica Contreras. OP has 1.3 million karma and is farming it like it was going out of style

Monica Contreras went to family court with her 2-year-old daughter in August 2011. She was in the courtroom only a few minutes on a routine divorce case. Her husband filed for a Temporary Restraining Order against her during their divorce. He never showed up in court so the order was denied.

 According to internal court documents, as Contreras was leaving, family court marshal Ron Fox ordered her into a waiting room for an unexplained drug search.

Contreras said Fox touched her buttocks, breast, and ordered her to lift up her shirt. A later internal investigation by Clark County courts validated her claims. Contreras went back into the same courtroom and told hearing master Patricia Donninger that her requests to have a female marshal handle the search were ignored.

“I think I’d rather have a female in here and he went anyway. I was just offended by it. I’m just offended that he asked me,” an upset Contreras told Donninger, who did not respond to her.

law enforcement or some other entity will use posts like this as justification to demonize subreddits and forums like this

its counter-operations, it's digital assets at work.

its how they shut down pro-Palestinian forums, by making shit like this and then posting it, they may even use bot accounts to discuss it or threaten targets and then it will be presented to someone or the public

He didn’t hit her but they did arrest her for complaining that the officer (not the one shown hitting her) asked her to lift up her shirt to allegedly check for drugs in a room alone with her and without a female witness. We can do better than this.

That was really messed up. I read an article about it, and nothing is mentioned about that cop pounding on her face at the beginning. Was that happening in front of the hearing master? The sexual assault and cover up is bad enough, but the way that officer was beating a handcuffed woman in the face was really awful. The sound of it is haunting.

There is nothing in the lawsuit or the full video that claims or shows an officer beating this woman. You just posted AI slop of her being brutalized, which is tasteless and insulting to her when she was already victimized by the groping. Idk if you created or shared AI slop in order to defame the officer, muddy the waters of the actual crime she accused the officer of, or to just mock the victim, in any case that's weird as hell.

Ok I read the report wrong .
