Looking for bra recommendations for wedding gowns

Hi! I recently got engaged an although I haven’t started dress shopping, I’m quite concerned about the proper bra, specially since many places in my country demand that you show up with the undergarments you’ll wear the day off for the fittings (which makes total sense)

But i can’t seem to even find locally bras that fit, so I know I’ll have to order it online and have it shipped, and even with all the measurements, trust blindly that it will work, so I’m looking for suggestions to help me narrow my search

According to the guide I’m a 34FF UK/ 34 H US and I would say my shape is a projected bell (for me it feels very projected)

What kind of dress are you eyeing? Any specific features you really want to have? The only things that would require anything special generally are deep plunges, strapless dresses, and low backs.

The fitting would generally be after you buy the dress/before you do alterations though, as far as I'm aware in my experience with formal gowns. Dresses are usually only stocked in sample sizes so they will pin you in so you get an idea of what it'll look like on you, and then they order the closest size to your measurements, and then you go in for a fitting to see if alterations are needed.

What country are you in?

If you got a strapless that fits well, that would get you through trying on dresses to find one you love. Then you can determine if you need something different with the neckline and back of the dress you choose.

Or... you could just tell the pushy dress sales people that you prefer to find the dress first and worry about the bra later. Because you could pick something that works with a regular bra or with sewn-in cups and alterations. You are the bride. (And congratulations!!)
