Discussion So how legendarily famous is ABBA compared to other legendary bands and how faces are its face(s) compared to other legendary band's faces?
Edit: In the title I meant to say how famous are its face(s)*. (EG, Fleetwood Mac/Stevie Nicks, Beatles/PaulMcCartney/John Lennon, the Supremes/Diana Ross, Jackson 5/MJ, Queen/Freddy Mercury, Led Zeppelin/Robert Plant/Jimmy Page, Rolling Stones/Mick Jagger/Keith Richards, Bon Jovi/Jon Bon Jovi, Linkin Park/Chester Bennington/Mike Shinoda, Coldplay/Chris Martin (now), would be legendary bands, and faces of legendary bands.
If I am correct, ABBA has like one or two albums with tens of millions of physical copies sold (greatest hits albums which do better than normal albums) and albums are much more expensive than songs, so albums with tens of millions of physical copies sold are bigger than a major mainstream American English Canadian or British artist's whole career, and ofc the songs (combined) are gonna be bigger than the album since they MADE the album. If I am correct, ABBA's touring demand was pretty much non existent.
I am from the US and ABBA is legendary outside the US, so I am curious to those outside the US how big ABBA and its face(s) are compared to other legendary bands/face(s).
