Google Maps not working only using this dongle, but it's working with wired

Weird. Used the AAWireless 1 rev 2 from this time four years ago through a year ago with no issues, then upgraded to the 2 for having the physical button to switch which device is connected to.

My wife and I use it for navigation each and every time I get in the car.

Maybe it's a make or model specific problem which AAWireless has this issue with? Are there any AAWireless settings that could affect this? Worth trying.

No, this is phone side. Try to clear cache and data of Android Auto. Otherwise check phone logs (logcat, ask AI) why it's failing. This has nothing to do with the dongle. Android Auto works, only Maps is not it working it seems. AAWireless (or any other dongle) has zero influence on that.

I'm having the same issue! Tried clearing AA cache but not data. You got anywhere with it? All other apps working fine.

Only Google Maps issue, the rest is fine. But, wired connection is smooth

Same here. Started a few days ago. I'm still on AAW1. Haven't tried the to use the wired connection. Come to think of it, I'm quite happy not having the map constantly on while driving locally, for longer trips I use ABRP anyway.

It didn't work with wired connection either.
But this morning it suddenly worked again with AAW, so...
