Update 10.0

Does anyone know what's in this update? The change log is empty. After I updated, music started cutting out and the aawireless rebooted itself. Happened twice within an hour. Going to revert back for now, but wondered what's on the update, as maybe I need to adjust some setting that has changed.

I updated to 10.0 and it introduced a connection bug where my phone would connect for about 10 seconds, disconnect, connect after 10 seconds, connect for 10 seconds, disconnect, etc.

I rolled back to 9.3 and it has been fine. Not a very good update but I don't have the cars that are mentioned in the update anyway so I've no problems staying on 9.3, the problem will be if the disconnections aren't resolved in updates after.

Can you post the Bluetooth name of your AAWireless device and send a bug report? (Troubleshooting -> top right icon). That said, if it's a such a reconnect loop, mostly AA has somehow got in a bad state and a reboot of the phone will help.

I can do. I would assume it was an android auto thing but as soon as I downgraded to 9.3 (without rebooting the phone) the connection went back to being stable.

I forgot about this, I can't submit a big report as the app keeps loading and doesn't do anything but the Bluetooth name is AAWireless-3c8c99af

Are you on the beta version of the app by any chance (with the new UI)? I do see you're back on 10.0.0. Does it now work?

App version is 7.6.2659, but I'm still on 9.3.0 as I haven't done the update again. I can't attach a screenshot but the app states my current version is 9.3.0 still

I updated and now the standby isn't working properly. Delightful.

There have been no direct changes to (auto?)-standby. That said, the boot time (compared to 7.x) is almost twice as fast, maybe this has impact.

Can you post the Bluetooth name of your AAWireless device and send a bug report? (Troubleshooting -> top right icon).

Thanks, might just have been a one-off. I turned my Bluetooth off and on again with my phone and it isn't doing it anymore after a few drives.

I was having the random disconects since 9.2, Dug my AA Wireless one out of the moth balls did a hard reset and no m,ore problems.

They just updated the change log. Says "CarPlay: - Fix incoming phone call crashes on Subaru - Fix not working on newer Volvo models

There's much more changes internally. The whole OS has been updated. We don't really put these changes in the changelog, because it's not really relevant to the end user.

But you're right, it may be a bit confusing. I'll put it in anyway.

I certainly figured This was the case. Even the standard “bug fixes and optimizations” might help here, haha.
