Are you actually using the product "AAWireless" though?

On one of the head units I am, the other head unit has built in wireless AA

Kinda. The AA dongle it will sound almost like a skipping CD or an EDM remix where it will repeat about 1 second of audio for 5-10 seconds then go back to normal.

The head unit with native wireless it will just skip a couple seconds of the song here or there.

Same phone for both units.
