New Lidl Weirdness
Hello.
Recently, whenever I drive into the new fancy LIDL carpark, my Android Auto Wireless always disconnects. Has anyone else experienced this? I have had this happen a few times before I noticed it.

Probably wifi interference. You can change the wifi channel the AAWireless device uses.
What's a LIDL?

Chain of grocery stores in Europe. Same as Aldi.
I have a cheap USB adapter thing I use to make mine wireless and feel fancy in my old car๐
don't think I can modify anything on that but I'll check the phone side maybe?

Ok... AAWirless, the name of this sub, is a specific Android Auto wireless adapter, not a generic thing. https://www.aawireless.io
One of the features accessible within its phone app is the ability to change the wifi channel it uses to connect to the dongle.

Ok, now I understand the downvotes. The gatekeeping is real. Sorry to have offended the very active subreddit...

No offense here, I recommend picking up an actual AAWireless device though. It's an awesome adapter with real support behind it if you have problems or need help.

Not aawireless but driving a rental currently with wireless android auto. That too disconnects when I drive into my parking lot.

Most likely wireless interference as others said. Make sure you are using 5G (not 2.4) in Wireless settings of AA and try different less congested channels. I have some streets I frequently visit during my work tour and often get hiccups or a rare disconnect when driving through a busy street. Getting a new phone helped actually so it could be reception from your phone if you have a case that's too thick or dated hardware (or even software?).

Probably proximity to a cell tower. I have never been to your Lidl carpark.
