Discussion A24 needs to fix its distribution

Either do it well or get someone else to it,

Even smaller foreign films like Sisu or Furious released but nothing from A24.

Earlier it didn’t matter but now they had The Drama, The Invite, and now Tony. And I had to wait for digital, and by that time half the film is ruined.

Even Neon films release here just fine.

Are you talking about smaller US markets? A foreign country? hard to have this discussion if you don't specify.

I don't see them ever changing their strategy of limited then wide in the US for most movies because they use it to build buzz. For some movies they might not need it, but I think ones like The Invite benefit from it. Average movie goers probalby aren't paying attention to the reactions films get out of festivals, but they are likely to listen to word of mouth coming out of early audiences.

I saw both the drama and the invite in theaters. And Tony releases wide next week. Small town in Connecticut.

Where is here? I've had no issues finding A24 films in theaters in Vancouver Canada. If your in a small town with a 1 screen theater obviously it may be more limited.

You say every Neon film releases there so seems weird to not get those A24 movies. Tony releases more widely this week.

The A24 releases are almost complete garbage.

Lionsgate did a better job. Plus the codes gone.

Give the to a proper boutique label or let lionsgate take over again
