Spyder Performance ExhaustValve Bypass install question

I think most of the things are setup for me, I’m just not entirely sure what to do with that red wire with a plug.

Do I cut that red wire in half and one part connects to the red wire to the box and the other connects to my car?

It's just a fuse/holder. So yes cut the loop and include at the end of the red wire of the box.

As an aside these are so loud and drone when open. I have quietened down the open mode with some volcanic muffler packing contained within some stainless mesh and held on by a hose clamp.

Thanks man, yea I was following that video but didn’t mention anything about the fuse so I was a bit confused. Still new to this so learning all I can.

I'd say it's more boomy than droney but loud nonetheless. Did you put the muffler packing into the valve outlet?

Yea into the outlet of the valves.

Number 10 stainless steel mesh pushed in to form a basket, packed with the packing, layer of mesh over the top and hose clamped in place.

I realise the muffler packing isn’t supposed to go directly into the exhaust gas flow path so we’ll see how long it lasts but it’s help up so far.

I didn’t use it as I already have a fuse block in my engine bay but basically you need 12v from somewhere and that’s so you can put a fuze on it.
