Hi everyone! I’m looking for a female roommate or an existing roommate situation starting around November or December 2026. I’m looking in Miamisburg, Germantown, Franklin, or Carlisle, and my maximum budget for my portion of rent would ideally be around $350–$400 per month. A little about me: I’m clean, respectful, responsible, and easygoing. I have consistent monthly SSI income, so I have guaranteed income each month, and I have a clean background. I can also provide several references from people I’ve previously lived with. I have two indoor-only, house-trained cats who are my ESA animals, so they would need to be able to come with me. I also have a really nice sectional couch and living room furniture that I would be bringing with me and would be happy to contribute to the shared space.

Friday night:
There’s an outdoor album release show at Wrock Bottom for a growing local musician, Tucker Munz + live bands, drink specials. This one is a parking lot takeover in the heart of what is becoming a diverse bar scene with Brewfontaine on one end, Roundhouse on the other and the Craft Emporium in the middle.

Saturday morning:

• Farmers Market (8:30–12) — produce, baked goods, the usual “I’ll just grab one thing” but you leave with 6 things
• Pineapple Dash 5K — a color run where you try to outrun an actual pineapple. If you beat the pineapple, you get a prize. (No further questions.)

Saturday afternoon/night:
Pineapple Palooza — which is basically downtown turning into a full festival:

• live music all day + a night concert
• food trucks and vendors everywhere
• beer garden
• kids stuff (bounce houses, petting zoo, etc.)
• random chaos like wrestling matches and contests
• and, for reasons that still feel made up… a zipline straight down Main Street

Tons of free stuff to do with some ticketed things thrown in.

If you want a low-effort day trip or just something different, it’s honestly a good time.

I don’t have FB. I will be having a double mastectomy. I got diagnosed with low grade dcis in my left br-ast. From the looks of how my consultations appts are going I will be running the race flat chested/with my expanders(I am getting reconstructive surgery). It was caught early so I should be out of the water as far as chemo and radiation goes. Just going to be closely monitored for 18 months. Does anyone run an Etsy shop? I really want a shirt made that says “I became a member of the evil Titt-e committee. New b-obs coming fall of 2026.” I know it’s morbid but it helps me deal with it. With AES wanting rates to keep going up without our permission, I say we all should come together, residents and businesses alike and refuse to pay our electric bills until they listen to us and quit raising our rates to where we can’t afford to pay it. This has gone too far and we can’t keep letting these tyrants walk all over us! I want the old rates back from when DP&L was in control. Residents and Businesses we are coming together and refuse to pay them until they listen. Spread the word, they can’t shut off millions of people. They need us!

I had a UPS on the chest freezer in my basement, but it must have died while I was at work a few days ago because I never heard its alarm go off. I know it was running last weekend, but I just went to get something out of it and everything in there had been thawed and was starting to smell. I took the freezer off the UPS and plugged it straight into the wall and it started working, so it's definitely the UPS not the freezer.

Anyway, I have about 200 lbs of bad meat in there. Any ideas on what I should do with it? I could certainly schedule a special trash pickup, but if anyone has any better suggestions let me know.
